The discount is only available via the store’s loyalty program, Target Circle, as the digital offer must be added to your account first, before you can redeem it.
The one-time use discount is only valid for a single transaction — that means you have to buy all your gift cards at once, in one order.
The discounted gift cards may be purchased in any denomination — but however many you buy, you have a limit of $500 total per household. So you can buy one $500 card, or five $100 cards, or ten $50 cards, etc.
Minimum purchase is $10.
The cards don’t expire or carry any fees.
They would make great gifts because nearly everyone loves Target.
However, if you’re a regular Target shopper, it might be wise to purchase the maximum allowed for yourself — for a total savings of $50.
Smart shoppers will use the discounted gift cards on sale/clearance merchandise and/or with coupons for maximum savings. If you play “your cards” right, you can definitely swipe some big savings at checkout.
