Getting there
It’s easy to get to the King Center on MARTA.
The closest train station is King Memorial Station, on the blue and green line. From there, it’s a 15-20 minute walk to the King Center. You can also transfer to bus #889 for a short ride to the Center.
The Atlanta Streetcar is probably the best option for getting to the King Center.
- To connect with the streetcar, take a red or gold line train to the Peachtree Center MARTA station and follow the signs pointing to Ellis Street off the train platform then Peachtree Street East for the Peachtree Center streetcar stop.
- Or take the blue/green line to the Georgia State MARTA station and walk about 10 minutes to the Sweet Auburn Curb Market streetcar stop via Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. (The streetcar ride is much shorter from this station).
For complete MARTA directions, including turn-by-turn walking instructions, view the MARTA Guide online.
