ACT FAST and register now for FREE tours
While the tours and events are free, many of them require a ticket. Ticket registration opens to the public on February 21, 2024.
To browse the ticketed tours and register through Eventbrite, click here and then scroll down to find the Phoenix Flies events — they’ll appear after the ticketed tours with a price tag.
If you’re browsing thru Eventbrite, don’t be discouraged if the earliest events are already sold out — just scroll down to later in March to find events that are still open.
Also, if you are already closed out of a tour you’re interested in, it is very much worth it to join the wait list. We’ve found that many people reserve tickets early, and then cancel them before the event date.
There are also FREE events that don’t require a ticket.
You can find them in this online guide to the events, but it’s in the form of a digital flipbook online — it’s nearly impossible to read on a mobile device, so you’ll need to look at at on a computer screen.
You can also pick up a printed copy of the program guide at the Atlanta Preservation Center, located at 327 St Paul Ave SE in Grant Park.
We just don’t have the time or girlpower to list over 100 tours on our calendar of free events, so this post is your only notice that the events are happening and registration is open NOW.
Full confession: We registered for 7 tours and joined the wait list for one more.
Because free is good, and history is cool.
