FREE events at The Works: comedy, live music, outdoor movies, karaoke more
The Works is a mixed-use development on Atlanta’s West Side. It often hosts free and cheap events, and we’ll be listing them here as we find them.

Parking is free in the parking deck, which includes car charging stations.
There is a wide variety of dining options at The Works, so you can always come early to an event and grab a bite.
Many of the outdoor FREE events take place at The Camp, a one-acre green space that was designed to be a gift back to the neighborhood. It includes a mature tree canopy, seating areas, and public art.

FREE Holiday Pet Pics
Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dress up your four-legged friends in their best holiday sweaters and bring them to The Spur, the linear park area at The Works. There will be some festive props on site as well, to help you compose the perfect holiday shot. You’ll leave with complimentary photos. There will be free cocoa and cider on site.
While the photos are free, The Works is encouraging donations to Atlanta Humane Society.

New Year’s Eve Party
Saturday, December 31, 2022
11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Jan. 1st
Hang out at the Chattahoochee Food Works food hall and watch the ball drop in Times Square. Food vendors will be open until 9 p.m. The Center Bar will remain open until 1 a.m. on January 1st.
If you RSVP in advance via Eventbrite, you’ll receive a drink ticket for a complimentary toast drink!

Halloween: Kids Candy Crawl
Trick or treat! Start at Happy Mango and work your way through the outdoor candy stations for treats and spooky surprises, while supplies last.
Free admission. The Candy Crawl takes place on Saturday, October 29, 2022 starting at 10 a.m.

There will also be trick-or-treating at Chattahoochee Food Works, the food hall at The Works — from October 29th thru 31st, 2022. The food merchants will be handing out treats. Come in costume!
Karaoke Night
This FREE event takes place on Thursdays from 7 to 10 p.m. — come and sing your heart out! Karaoke takes place at the Chattahoochee Food Works food court, so you can grab a bite to eat.

Yappy Hour Pup Meetup
Bring your dog to The Works on Thursday nights for these special summer Yappy Hours, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. You’ll enjoy a deejay, pup-focused vendors, and special treats. The location is The Spur, a quarter-mile linear park.

Live at Five Summer Music Series
This is a FREE outdoor concert series on Friday nights, from 5 to 8 p.m. You’re invited to grab a beer from Scofflaw Brewing or a bite to eat from the Chattahoochee Food Works food hall.
Please check The Works’ event page to verify a concert is scheduled for that day, before you head out. The events calendar is currently only published for one month at a time, so we don’t know for sure when the Friday concerts will end.
Saturday Sounds Summer Music Series
FREE live music on Saturdays from 4 to 7 p.m., at The Camp. Enjoy local and regional bands.

Sunday FUNKday
FREE live music on Sunday afternoons at The Camp, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Scary Movie Night
Scary Movie Night takes place on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 6 p.m. with a showing of The Addams Family (the 2019 animated version).
The film will be shown at The Camp is a one-acre park that was designed to be a gift back to the neighborhood. It includes a mature tree canopy, seating areas, and public art.
Bring your blanket or chairs.
Dr. Scofflaw’s mobile bar will be on site for the adults, and Cosmic Candy will supply your favorite sweets and beverages.
This is a FREE and family-friendly event.
