Celebrate the grand tradition of Southern storytelling! This popular ghost tour takes place at Stone Mountain Park, within the Historic Square attraction. We’re not saying this collection of original buildings, all built between 1793 and 1875, is haunted — just that it makes the perfect setting for a lantern-lit stroll, with storytellers stationed along the way.
The tours begin on October 17th and continue through October 27, 2109. They are held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings between 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Tours take place on a rolling basis and start every ten minutes. They last approximately 45 minutes.
Each night features a different cast of six professional storytellers, which means you can enjoy the tour more than once.
According to the website, the stories are a little scary, many times humorous, but never too frightening or inappropriate for children.
