It’s hard to actually pick a favorite moment from when I was younger. One crazy moment though was when we were riding a dragon roller coaster and my sun visor came flying off my head and the hard front end flew straight into my mother’s mouth sitting behind me. Great catch!! But a childhood memory of my kids were when they first saw their first carnival light up at night. The wonder in their eyes was like a fabulous dream come true. To see both my kids riding the rides together was a dream for me and to watch them devour the funnel cakes with all the powdered sugar covered on their faces. My daughter came home with a stuffed animal as big as her!! We saw the signs posted yesterday and are looking forward to going multiple times next week because of spring break!! Thanks and good luck to everyone, fingers crossed!!

Fave part is seeing my then toddler experience the kiddie rides and funnel cake for the first time. She loved it all, the lights, the rides, the food. I loves seeing her happiness. Now she always asks to go to fairs so we have to wait for one to come to town. She is a dare devil with no fear now at 6 years old.
Gary Kucera says
The food is the best part.
Priscilla mora says
So many wonderful memories with friends and family seeing my children’s face and waiting until night for all the rides to light up just gives a different vibe, the funnel cakes love it !!!! And just the family time it brings no distractions just fun.
Sindy says
Carnivals are the most funnest part of a childhood memory, walking around with your friends and eating funnel cakes with fried Oreos, are the best times. I hope I can win this because I really want my siblings to enjoy a fun night and have a fun night.
Jody Gayhart says
The carnival, so many happy childhood memories. We kids didn’t have a lot of money for the food but splitting fries with a friend was great. So much excitement, the rides the music. It still makes me smile.
Vanessa Saleem says
My favorite carnival moment was when I was able to go to the fair with my children and grandchildren. The grands were to little to ride much but it was so great to get out as a family, eat funnel cakes, and see all of the lights on the rides. This was a 4 generation night that included my mother. We had the best time!
Treveichia Hillstock says
I love the carnival for the food rides games. My best memory was riding on the sea dragon and this man wig flew into my face then it went into someone else face before his wife caught it on the ground. He was red when he got off but he then laughed so hard about it. It is never a dull moment at a carnival.
Deirdre McNary says
My best carnival memory is the himilaya..my daughters and I rode and my, have to be dressed up with makeup, my cute daughter had a wig on.. the car went backwards and that wig lost its grip on her head and went flying!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have never laughed so hard in my life!!!!!
Anna R says
I love funnel cake. Mmmmmm hot fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. How can you go wrong?
Terri NAELITZ says
So many good memories of carnivals in the past but I think the most memorable ones had to do with the scary puppet lady in the booth that you had to feed quarters to get your fortune.
Jasmine Garr says
The best part of the carnival was the dreamcatcher. My daughter and I rode it four times!! We also enjoyed the himalaya, rock star, sizzler, tilt o whirl, tornado, etc. We hope to go again this year for more thrilling rides, great food, and fun!
Keri Gooden says
Hi guys. My favorite part of visiting the carnival as a child was my brother and I riding all the rides together. We’re the only ones in the family that ride the rides. We used to run around the fairgrounds eating junk and riding rides for hours. Sometimes we used to go two days in a row. Good times.💙
Lea Tamarack says
Carnivals have the best eats! Can’t wait for some funnel cake and fried Oreos!
Steve says
Love that a carnival appeals to all the senses–the taste of the food, the rush of the rides, the neon lights, the many sounds…and then there are many smells from the popcorn to the petting zoo!
