Tucker Parks & Recreation Department has launched a new series of group hikes, known as Just a Walk in the Park. It was previously known as Wild Walks.
The walks are FREE to join in and do not require advance registration.
They take place on Wednesdays.
Some are in the morning, and others are in the evening, after work.
See the schedule below.
Explore local Tucker trails and parks, immerse yourself in nature, and discover hidden gems along the way, as you connect with other walkers and nature enthusiasts.
The walks are designed to be easy and welcoming for people of all ages and abilities.
For each walk, just meet in the parking lot of the designated location and look for the group. We suggest arriving several minutes before the walk is set to begin.
Wear appropriate footwear, dress in layers, and bring your own water bottle (or walking stick, if you use one).
You can check the Tucker Parks & Rec Facebook page for updates.
And you can find upcoming walks on the Programs calendar on the Tucker Parks web page.
