The Wizard of Oz will return to the big screen for three days only, in honor of the film’s 85th anniversary. If you’ve never seen this classic movie in the theater, as it was meant to be seen, this is your chance.
The special screenings are part of Fathom Events’ Big Screen Classics movie series.

The 1939 film starred Judy Garland as Dorothy and earned six Academy Award nominations — but lost the coveted Big Picture award to another classic film, Gone With the Wind.
Where to see The Wizard of Oz in metro Atlanta
Showtimes and prices will vary between theaters. But most theaters are having an afternoon showing plus an early evening showing — so it’s very family-friendly.
The afternoon matinees are around 1 p.m., and the evening showings are 6 or 7 p.m.
